CT Fair Chance Coalition and Supporters:
HB: 5237 An Act Concerning Fair Chance Employment will be having a public hearing in front of the Labor Committee of the CT General Assembly this Thursday, March 3rd at 4 pm.
What we are asking of you now:
1) Come to the hearing on Thursday and testify in person.
The Labor Committee Hearing begins at 4 p.m. at Hill Regional Career High School, 140 Legion Ave. New Haven, CT)
Please fill out the form here to let us know if you’ll be testifying in person by Wednesday, March 2nd 11 a.m. and we will take care of signing you up. If you are unable to complete this form you will have to sign yourself up for public comment and this will begin at 1:30p.m. outside of the auditorium.

2) Submit written testimony.
You can email your testimony to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll submit it on your behalf. Or you can send it directly to the Labor Committee at LABtestimony@cga.ct.gov.

3) Come to the hearing to show your support for Fair Chance Employment!
Even if you do not submit testimony (either in writing or in person) please know that your presence will send a clear message and so we encourage you to attend the hearing.
4) Share your story with us for the campaign!
If you cannot come to the hearing, or cannot write testimony, you can still show your support! Please consider submitting a story on our website (www.ctfairchance.org ). Stories are the heart of movement building and we need you to make Fair Chance Employment a reality!.
Last but not least, if you or your organization have not completed an organization sign on form, please do so. We would like to get an accurate list of supporters and by completing the form you’ll be officially standing in solidarity for Fair Chance Employment FOR ALL!
